It is of the utmost importance that parents are engaged across the whole spectrum of school life. This is implemented through a number of different ways.

• Parents have access to see all the assessments related to their child, this includes formative grades for effort and achievement

• Parents are able to contact their child's tutor and success mentor and are welcome into school to discuss their child's wellbeing. If you wish to contact your child's tutor - please email office@gwacademy.co.uk

• Regular parents' evenings are held
   

• A regular series of "Support for Families" sessions runs, covering topics such as Internet Safety, Supporting Learning, SEND provision, the School Curriculum and much more

• We will encourage parents who want to share their skills and expertise to offer enrichment activities, whether as one-off events or as a series of sessions.
