Our sixth form curriculum offer comprises a broad range of over 30 A-Level and Vocational Courses.  Our curriculum develops as we grow and we aim to provide flexibility to meet the needs of our learners.

All students follow an individual programme of study, combining both core Level 3 qualifications and other activities, which is tailored to each student’s prior attainment and career goals.  We encourage students to start with four subjects to provide some flexibility in their subjects in Year 12 before settling on three subjects to continue to Year 13.  Every student is treated as an individual -  we value the opportunity to discuss your application with you in a 1:1 guidance meeting to ensure you choose the courses that are best suited to you.

Alongside the core curriculum we also provide the opportunity  study the Extended Project Qualification, Core Maths and other opportunities to supplement learning.  

 

Students who have not achieved a GCSE grade 4 in English or Maths will also be supported in continuing their study towards their GCSE re-sit.

 

Our main curriculum is supported with our Successful Lives programme, which includes PSHCE, Careers and Study Skills.  Students benefit from daily time with their tutors and through our ACE-HUB.  

We also have three Successful Lives Days per year, these are drop down days designed to prepare them for life after sixth form.
